Lori Ensinger is a managing director and head of the value strategies team at Columbia Management. In this role, Ms. Ensinger is responsible for a team of portfolio managers and analysts specializing in large-, mid- and small-cap value equities. She also manages the equity income separate account strategy and co-manages the large-cap value mutual funds and institutional portfolios. Previously, Ms. Ensinger was head of equities for Banc of America Capital Management (a predecessor firm), and from 2001 to 2003 served as head of the value strategies team. Ms. Ensinger joined Columbia Management in 2001 and has been a member of the investment community since 1983.
Prior to joining Columbia Management, Ms. Ensinger directed the investment strategy for all institutional assets managed under the U.S. large-cap value style at Zurich Scudder Investments. Previously, Ms. Ensinger worked as a senior portfolio manager at Prudential Securities Investment Management.
Ms. Ensinger earned a B.A. in biology from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass. She is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. In addition, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. |
